Thailand offers a free tourist visa on arrival for most western countries, valid for 30 days, perfect for most tourists and travelers. This visa can be three times extended with 30 days. However, 60-90 day visa are issued at all Thai embassies and consulates prior to arrival as well.
Certain nationalities are required to obtain a visa from an Thai embassy in their home countries before travel to Thailand. CLICK HERE to check requirements of your nationality. Keep in mind that Passports must be valid for 6 months from your date of arrival in the country. Onward or return tickets are compulsory. For Divemaster Trainees, IDC candidates and MSDT internships, student visas can be obtained valid for one year in your home country from Thai embassies and consulates, prior to arrival. Keep in mind, a student visa can not be obtained in Thai Embassies in Asia. |
