TRavel Asia Phi PhiAbout 50 kilometers east of Phuket and 40 kilometer south from Krabi in the Phang Nga Bay lay two fascinating and famous islands, Phi Phi Don and her little sister Phi Phi Leh. The white sandy beaches gently lap with crystal clear water and the spectacular limestone landscape is legendary.

No wonder these islands were used in the movie “the Beach” featuring Leonardo di Caprio in 1998. To keep the stunning natural beauty as unique and pristine as possible the islands are protected within Koh Phi Phi Marine National Park.

The islands offer a wide variety of dive sites. Like everywhere in Thailand, the diversity of dive sites over a small area is impressive. The dive sites surrounding Phi Phi offer breath taking walls and sensational caves and caverns. All complemented with hard and soft corals, and densely populated with sensational marine life.

Diving Asia Phi Phi TurtleThe divesites a bit further out host the best diving in the South Phang Nga bay. The massive rock formations of Hin Deang and Hin Muang are so densely covered in their own lush tropical underwater landscape that they form the most gorgeous backdrop a divesite could offer.

The dramatic walls descending down to depths of over 50 metres and impressive big fish make Hin Daeng and Hin Muang legends by themselves and in stiff competition with Richelieu Rock for the best in divesites in Thailand.
