Laying south east of island #3 and right beside Shark Fin Reef you will find Bolder City. One of the perfect found names for divesite and very well justified.

From the surface descending you can see the Boulders scattered together rising up from the bottom. Some boulders over 25 meters in height set the outlines for this surreal diving environment. In between the boulder formation, protected from the currents, you will drift over garden of soft and hard corals, Staghorn and Gorgonians sea fans creating a fantastic scenic contrast with the dark grey Boulders.

Currents                                              

Laying completely Open Ocean the currents can be strong. In between the Boulders you will find shelter from the currents if needed. But especially for the experienced diver, let the current take you along the magical ride over Bolder city.

Marine life                                            

Bolder city always attracts a surprising crowd of marine life. The current passing Bolder city brings in the different types and sizes of Rays, including mantas and white-tip sharks. While the coral garden in between the Rocks are filled with Big Groupers, Snappers, Angelfish, Surgeonfish, Unicornfish, Boxfish and puffers. Ending with a finishing touch in the rocky crevasses and cracks of the boulders pipefish, firegoby’s and different types of shrimps can be found. Making Boulder City host of one of the most diverse divesites in the Similans.
