| Gentle sloping coral reef
|
A nice flat area sloping down to five meters filled beautiful coral patches; create a perfect easy start for the dive or perfect area for a colorful safety stop, with plenty of fish and turtles for the entertainment. However most of the dive will be done in on the reef gently sloping down to 25 meters. The scattered rock en stone formation, loads of Seafans and lush soft corals complement each other perfectly on this reef.
Currents
The current normally creates a nice easy drift dive. However in the middle of the site the current regularly splits into two streams, one which flows to the north and one which flows to the south. The north stream finishes up the dive in the deeper areas of another divesite called north Point. The south flows towards the shallower areas. Depending on the experience of the divers, you can decide which way to flow. Marine Life
The extended reef is full of vibrant marine life, large schools of Sweetlips, Snapper, fusiliers, BatFish and Yellowtail Barracuda living together with Hawksbill and green turtles, Octopus and Ghost Pipefish in the corals. While the Leopard sharks, Kuhl's Stingrays, Garden Eels, all sorts of gobies and many different types of triggerfish, including the clown trigger, make the sandy bottom their home.
